CyberCore Partners to Provide NIST Secured Data Center Systems

Elkridge, MD – 3/15/2018 – CyberCore Technologies (CyberCore), a leading provider of Secure Supply Chain Management, in partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), today announced the worldwide release of their National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Enabled Infrastructure (NEI) Solution, the world’s first modularized data center that combines leading data center products with NIST security standards and guidelines, delivered using an International Standards Organization (ISO) certified secure supply chain risk management methodology.

NEI solutions enables the end user to procure pre-configured, tested, and authorized data center systems with strong security features, referred to in the U.S. Federal Government as an Authorization to Operate (ATO). CyberCore aims to ensure all NEI systems are secure and trusted, using a proven scalable, and efficient ISO 28000:2007 and ISO 20243:2015 certified approach to secure supply chain management. This approach reduces the risk associated with counterfeit or maliciously tainted products being introduced into the supply chain. CyberCore is the only U.S. system integrator with both ISO 28000:2007 and ISO 20243:2015 certifications.

“The objective is to provide our customers with a rapid path to an authorized data center, or ATO. Our NEI solution is a NIST enabled, PEN (penetration) tested framework that is designed to meet the most stringent security standards to save you time and money.” said Tina Kuhn, President and CEO of CyberCore Technologies.

“This solution highlights HPE’s mission to make Hybrid IT simple for our clients,” said Daniel Dubois, Lead, HPE Federal System Integrator business. “NEI adds supply chain assurance, cyber security and speed to outcomes for our customers who have to work within an ATO process.”

So, What Is NEI?

Imagine an automated data center system that supports converged, hyper converged, object storage, and cloud technologies all behind your firewall. Now take that automated data center system, implement over 250 NIST controls with penetration and vulnerability validation, all acquired with a pricing model similar to a public cloud. NEI incorporates Red Hat’s open hybrid cloud technologies, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Virtualization, Red Hat Ansible Automation, Red Hat CloudForms, and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, helping U.S. federal government customers modernize infrastructure and applications from on-premise environments to the public cloud. The solution is built on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, the first operating system to be Common Criteria-certified with Linux Container Framework Support, underscoring Red Hat’s commitment to delivering hardened and more secure IT innovations like Linux containers.

This NEI approach is unique in the industry. CyberCore and HPE’s NEI solution provides the documentation (which includes the NIST 800-53(rev4) controls), implementation language, and many of the required documents (e.g. system security plan, configuration plan, contingency plan, etc.), penetration results, remediation, and P&OAM as needed, as well as a Nessus vulnerability scan output (XML) to be integrated into an organization ATO process. NEI provides about 85% of the documentation needed for an organization to acquire an authorization, allowing the customer to go to an ATO status within weeks, not months.

CyberCore Technologies Recognized for Excellence in Managed IT Services

Elkridge, MD, February 26, 2018 – CyberCore Technologies (CyberCore) announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named CyberCore to its 2018 Managed Service Provider (MSP) 500 list in the Elite 150 category. This annual list recognizes North American solution providers with cutting-edge approaches to delivering managed services. Their offerings help companies navigate the complex and ever-changing landscape of IT, improve operational efficiencies, and maximize their return on IT investments.

In today’s fast-paced business environments, MSPs play an important role in helping companies leverage new technologies without straining their budgets or losing focus on their core business. CRN’s MSP 500 list shines a light on the most forward-thinking and innovative of these key organizations.

The list is divided into three categories: the MSP Pioneer 250, recognizing companies with business models weighted toward managed services and largely focused on the SMB market; the MSP Elite 150, recognizing large, data center-focused MSPs with a strong mix of on-premises and off-premises services; and the Managed Security 100, recognizing MSPs focused primarily on off-premise, cloud-based security services.

CyberCore was selected for this award in large part to their explosive growth over the last five years in the Managed Services arena. A large volume of their Managed Service growth has been with Intelligence Community customers. CyberCore has seen additional growth in this area due to their ISO 20243:2015 and ISO 28000:2007 certifications, making them the only company in the world to hold both.

“Managed service providers have become integral to the success of businesses everywhere, both large and small,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “Capable MSPs enable companies to take their cloud computing to the next level, streamline spending, effectively allocate limited resources and navigate the vast field of available technologies. The companies on CRN’s 2018 MSP 500 list stand out for their innovative services, excellence in adapting to customers’ changing needs and demonstrated ability to help businesses get the most out of their IT investments.”

“We are very honored to be named for this award. Managed Services is a sector of our business that we have been focused on growing in the past five years. We have realized double digits percentage growth in the last three years thanks to the robust strategy laid out by our executive team,” says Dr. William Von Hagel, Jr., Sales Operations Director at CyberCore Technologies.

The MSP500 list will be featured in the February 2018 issue of CRN and online at www.CRN.com/msp500.
